Moving on to the next awesome series on my list, the Chicagoland Vampires Series. Those of you that know me, you know I am a HUGE vampire lover. I stumbled upon the first book in this series via an Amazon recommendation. I was in love after the first book. If you enjoy urban fantasy and enjoy a great vampire story, you should grab this one today.

This series definitely is one of my top reads! Not as dark as my previous listed reads, but definitely worthy of a five + star rating. The first thing that will catch your eye is the fantastic book covers....they rock. Then you will be drawn into the amazing world that Chloe Neill has created in Chicagoland. Each character is special in their own unique way. There are so many that I love, but a few standout more than others :-) Merit for sure is high on my list, she is just one badass Sentinel. But, I can't say too much since as I don't want to give anything away to those that are just discovering this series. I will say that I have had many debates with other fans of the series about Merits choices and I am hands down on the losing end with my pick...lol!! I still have hope for the big J....for those that have read the series I feel you rolling your eyes at me, but hey this girl can dream. *grin*
